He is also on staff at Stockholm's Royal College of Music as special instructor, coach and mentor for students in the jazz department.In 2006 Doug founded Zero8, a Stockholm-based men's choir, and has served as director from the start. Thus far, Zero8 has performed in Sweden, Holland, Germany, Spain and the United States and released two critically acclaimed albums; both produced by Doug. In the world of Barbershop he has led the group to 4 consecutive Nordic Championships, a European gold medal and a 7th place finish in their first World Championship. His most prolific acheivement was becoming the 2003 Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Champion with his quartet Power Play! Power Play was formed in 1988, and won the Pioneer (Michigan) District quartet championship in the fall of 1989. Der Bariton ist ein richtiges Wechseltierchen - er passt seine Stimme je nach Höhe einer anderen Stimme an. Böse Zungen behaupten, das läge daran, dass er/sie weder wirklich hoch noch wirklich tief singen könne... Frechheit! (meint Nina...!) > Chromagic »Buzz, Sept. 2008Already well-medaled individually before they got together as a true supergroup, Nancy, Debbie, Karen and Jeannie and The Buzz won Sweet Adelines International Quartet Gold in 2005, and have been delighting audiences and happily living their 'Four Parts, One Voice' motto ever since. Tenor, Nancy Cloeter sang tenor with the 1992 Champion Quartet 'City Lights', with whom she traveled and performed extensively. She has also been an active member and section leader in the International Champion Ramapo Valley Chorus for many years, and she most recently spent time singing and teaching barbershop in China. A sought after coach and vocalist, Nancy makes her home in Budd Lake, New Jersey.Lead, Debbie Cleveland is a high school choral director, and frequent clinician for Youth Harmony events. She sang lead with 'Showtime', the 1994 champs, and is a member of the Sweet Adelines International Faculty. Dougs energetische und lustige Art machen es leicht, sich “gefangen nehmen zu lassen”. Das schöne Ergebnis: Man singt deutlich besser als vorher und es hat auch noch Spaß gemacht! Doug gründete 2006 den überaus erfolgreichen Chor Zero8. Die Ergebnisse der Arbeit: Viermal hintereinander Nordic Champion, Europameister und 7. der Weltmeisterschaften (bei der ersten Teilnahme!)
